About B.A. Economics

The Department of Economics at Vidhyadeep Institute of Liberal Arts (VILA) was established in the year 2024 with an intake capacity of 20 students.

The Department of Economics is an academic division focused on the study of how societies allocate scarce resources, the functioning of markets, and the behavior of economic agents. It examines topics such as production, consumption, trade, financial systems, and economic policies. The department typically offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, emphasizing quantitative analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Course Duration: 4 Years

Intake: 20

Eligibility: Passed HSC (12th) examination in any stream/subject from Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board or any recognized board are eligible for admission into this program.

Admission Procedure: Merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained in the 12th examinations of the students.
