About B.A. Social Studies

The B.A. Social Studies Department of Vidhyadeep Institute of Liberal Arts (VILA) was estab-lished in the year 2024 with an intake capacity of 20 students.

Social Studies is the interdisciplinary study of human society, examining the connections be-tween individuals, communities, and the environment. It explores key aspects such as history, geography, economics, politics, and culture, and how these elements shape our understanding of the world. Whether you are interested in societal development, social issues, or global trends, the Social Studies program provides the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to under-stand the complexities of our world.

Admission 2025-26

Course Duration: 4 Years

Intake: 20

Eligibility: Passed HSC (12th) examination in any stream/subject from Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board or any recognized board are eligible for admission into this program.

Admission Procedure: Merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained in the 12th examinations of the students.
